I have to admit that I do not know much about blogging, but I am going to give it a shot anyway. People who know me really well, know that I am an avid WWII follower. I have the firm belief that if we do not learn from history's mistakes, we are doomed to repeat them. History can only be remembered if people write down or document the facts involved. One of the really neat things that I have in my possession is a book written specifically about the 382nd Field Artillery, Battery A. I am currently trying to put this information out for the public to see, as this was not a publicly published book. As I read through the book, I am finding portions of this book that directly relate not only to my grandfather, but to other artifacts that I own as well. |
I am trying to get this book's information up as quickly as I can and refresh the site often for those who may be interested in the content. I have done the following things to help make this material more interesting:
I hope you enjoy the history located inside of this book as much as I do.
Have a great day!
- Highlighted all stories, comments or any mention of my grandfather in red
- Added green colored links to pages that contain additional information or photographs that I possess about the people, items, or stories mentioned in the book
I hope you enjoy the history located inside of this book as much as I do.
Have a great day!
